Where is Lauren based and how far will she travel?

Lauren is based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, and regularly performs at weddings and events in Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and the Tweed Coast. Travel outside of the Gold Coast area may incur an additional travel fee (see my Services and Pricing page) which will be discussed prior to booking. Lauren can travel interstate and internationally for events, depending upon her availability.

What is the minimum booking time for a wedding violinist?

The minimum booking time is 1 hour This can include one special song or continuous background music up to 60 minutes.

Is Lauren able to play in the rain?

Yes, Lauren regularly performs at both indoor and outdoor weddings and events. However, as violins are not water-resistant, a wet-weather backup plan is essential for outdoor ceremonies.

Can a wedding violinist perform at both indoor and outdoor events?

How can I book Lauren in and do I need to pay a deposit?

Please enquire via the contact form. A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure your booking date. Bookings are finalised once the deposit is received.

We have a special song we’d love for Lauren to play - is this possible?

Yes, absolutely. Lauren would be happy to learn specific songs for your wedding or event. Please ensure you provide Lauren with adequate time and information. Please see Lauren’s repertoire page for a list of songs she currently plays.

How far in advance should we book Lauren to play the violin for our wedding?

It’s recommended to book Lauren as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Popular wedding dates can fill up quickly, so contacting Lauren at least 6 to 12 months or more in advance is ideal. However, Lauren may be able to accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability.

If you need to cancel your booking, please refer to the terms outlined in the contract. Generally, deposits are non-refundable, but Lauren will work with you to reschedule if possible. Full payment is generally due 21 days prior to your wedding.
