Hi - I’m Lauren

I started playing violin when I was five, but these days you’re much more likely to hear me playing Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Bridgerton and beautiful modern love songs than anything overly traditional!

I absolutely love taking songs people already have an emotional connection with and bringing them to life on the violin.

There’s nothing quite like the moment the first notes of your song begin, everyone turns around and you realise: this is actually happening.

Honestly, it still gives me goosebumps.

Music that feels like you

I perform solo violin with lovely backing tracks, creating a beautiful full sound for ceremonies, canapés, receptions, corporate events, proposals and celebrations.

Your music can be romantic, modern, elegant, upbeat, a little bit quirky - or a complete mixture of everything you love.

And if there’s a meaningful song that isn’t already on my list, I’m always happy to see whether I can learn it for you!

You enjoy the moment - I’ll handle the music

I’ve spent many years performing at weddings and events, so you won’t need to worry about cues, timings or what happens when plans change. You simply get to take it all in.

I’m classically trained, have performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra, and in 2025 I was incredibly honoured to be named:

• National Live Entertainment Winner at the Australian Wedding Awards

• Queensland Wedding Instrumentalist of the Year at the ABIA Awards

• Recipient of a 99.98% ABIA client-satisfaction rating

But the loveliest feedback will always be hearing that the music gave someone goosebumps, made them cry or became one of their favourite memories from the day.

When I’m not playing, I’m usually with my husband and daughter, at the beach or planning another trip.
